As Supervising Producer for NBC News Digital OV, I was responsible for overseeing a team of video journalists as they executed documentary news journalism. Below is a (small) sample of some of those pieces, the pieces that embodied the best of the mission I put the team on: to tell issue-based, character-driven stories about a large American issue intersecting with the life of a normal person and telling that story in the present tense.
